White iPhone 4 Delayed Because of White Not Being White

Pocket-Lint spotted a white iPhone 4 the other day at a press event. When speaking with the owner of the phone it seems to be that Apple [AAPL] has delayed the launch of the white iPhone 4 due to the white not being correct. For example, the white home button isn't the same color as the white used for the glass.

With Apple being a perfectionist it has decided that it wont release the phone till everything is 100% right.

This of course isn't confirmed officially, but at this point in time is as good a reason as any we have heard. We have actually heard this same rumor before which adds a little credibility to it.

If you are wondering how the guy at the press event got hold of one, apparently he has a contact at Apple HQ who managed to get one for him as there are plenty to be seen at One Infinite Loop.
